The keycaps are made of 85percent PBT plastic which is more durable than ABS and feels more smooth to the feel. The textured surface is resistant to oily finger prints and dust accumulation, which makes it easy to clean. They are also made using a double-shot technique which is a harder manufacturing process that gives more durability.
One downside to this set of keycaps is that it may not play well with north-facing LEDs and switches. This is a problem that I have also encountered with other PBT sets which isn't unique to this one. It's a minor issue that does not impact the overall usability. This set comes with a keycap remover which is a great addition.
